Teeny tiny and very local but the most fantastic suckling pig you can imagine. Full of locals at lunchtime which says a lot. Well worth the 15 min walk from the cable car area.

Very, very good. Not the place to go on a date... It's more of a place to go to enjoy good food.

Walked 3 km to get to what looks like a great little restaurant, but they were expecting a party of 10 in an hour and didn't let us come in, even though they were open and empty at the time. Very disappointing.

Nice, unpretentious, restaurant. If you like suckling pig with salad and fries, you should give it a try. No menu to choose from, so all the work is done for you. Unless you decide to have dessert, and in that case you have a tough choice to make. I tried the cherries (it was summer) and also "doce de amêndoa", very sweet and made with almonds and eggs. They were both very good. The downside is that it was a VERY hot day and they had no air conditioning.

The best roasted piglet in Lisbon. The only trouble I have with this place Is that it doesn’t have any set operating hours. It’s almost always open for lunch during the week and it’s only open for diner when you’ve made reservations for a large party, but I’ve never found it open during the weekend. I guess it operates only when the owner feels like it. It’s best to call the place before venturing to it. Not a fancy restaurant, quite the opposite, but it matches the mood and food served.
