While ambient is nice and the garden really cosy, the food quality is really poor. The butter (came with bread as couvert) was pre-packed like marmalade you can find for breakfast in a cheap hotel. We had duck and was tasteless and rubbery. We were so brave to have dessert as well but was a mistake. Both cheese cake and ice cream seemed to come straight from a supermarket. Service wasn't that good too. In conclusion: bad food for high price.

Nice traditional restaraunt for traditional cod and octopus. Caramel ice cream is very good.

Super restaurant with nice Portuguese menu and great service!

Really disappointed. Incredibly awkward.
We had bookmarked this place in advance based on previous reviews. Whilst we had hoped to eat in town it turns out everywhere good is booked in advance on the weekend so headed up to restaurant 33. When we arrived the place was empty say for two other couples. No music and very quiet which made us feel a bit awkward (having had a couple of pre drinks in town).
The food was average at best, yet expensive for Lisbon. We felt rushed by service even though it was virtually empty. The waiters did not speak very good English (contrary to an earlier review) and the flimsy paper menu was badly translated, such as "golden soup" for dessert, whatever that is.
To top off our not so fine dining experience, when we requested the bill, we realised that we had been charged for the bread that was brought to the table with drinks which we assumed was complimentary.
Personally I am confused about previous reviews and frankly disappointed that we decided to spend our first night in Lisbon at this restaurant.

The premises was very romantic and soul full. We dined at the outside garden. Service was clear and nice, we could easily communicate in English.
Both food and wine ware excellent. Especially the duck. The proportions ware just right, not too much and they did leave some room for deserts, which ware delightful.
We did have our 18 month old daughter with us, but the staff and other customers ware more than pleased with her.
