One of my favorite hostels ever! Wonderful location in 3 minutes from metro, building has elevator, wonderful friendly people, rooms are pretty big and clean, and the decor is very artistic.

LOVE THIS HOSTEL!! I felt like family after staying almost 3 weeks, wonderful staff, clean rooms and shower facilities. They will do your laundry for $6. Very close to all the fun areas and shopping!

Great place to stay in Lisbon! The rooms were large with plenty of space to store my luggage. Keycards were needed to enter the hostel as well as the rooms so I felt safe and secure during my stay. The staff was beyond friendly! They helped me prepare for a day trip to Sintra by providing great sightseeing suggestions, they also gave me a map of bars, restaurants and nightlife in the city as well! This hostel provided the best complimentary breakfast I've had while staying in any hostel while traveling. Shiado is also conveniently located a couple of blocks from the metro which makes it quite easy to get to and from during daily exploration. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed my time at Shiado hostel during my stay in Lisbon ! The hostel is situated in a perfect position to visit the major sights of Lisbon by foot and the members of the staff were always very nice and available to answer my questions. Really recommended!

Good location and friendly staff, however definitely one of the worst hostels I have ever stayed in materially. One bathroom at the end of the hallway, shower turns off after five seconds, shower curtains are covered in mold, and floor is so creaky people walking by the room in the morning wake you up. Elevator didn't work and the hostel is on the third floor. There's construction starting at 8:30AM across the street.
