Another excellent meal in Madeira. Lovely balcony to sit on and enjoy the very professional service.

Was here with a group of friends for lunch on a Sunday. In a nutshell, we basically walked out. Surly waitress looked like she just got dumped by her boyfriend, while the male waiter, when I asked to check on our order that didn't get served after half an hour, shrugged and said "we'll see what happens". No apologies and no sense of urgency. This is after another 2 tables that came after us had got their order with a smile. Hate to attribute this as a case of racism but it sure seems like it since we're the only group of Asian customers. Disgusting behavior, I hope this is not reflective of Madeira's general service standards.
