I really like this hotel because it is so close to everything. Staff friendly and helpful, roof top pool with sea view. A gem!!

Nice hotel in the center of Funchal for best value. Rooftop bar and swimming pool on the terrace. Breakfast is basic but plentiful.

The hotel is probably a 3 star but the staff is 5 so I guess 4 stars is pretty fair. The same goes for the restaurant, food is average but staff (I only remember Lionel) is excellent. Next time we visit Madeira we'll certainly choose the same place no matter if it's 3 or 4 stars.
