A diseaster ! It said 2 stars, but the hotel doesn't deserve them. The room are very small and old fashioned. The bathroom is also old fashioned, and not well designed! There is no place for the toilets. And above that the room smells the cold tabac!! The food of the breakfast is not good, not fresh and chemical.

Cheap hotel to spend one night in. The beds are pretty uncomfortable and the traffic/neighbours are loud. But overall okey. Friendly and helpful staff.

My husband & I stayed here for our 'mini-moon' (we're planning a trip to Thailand in a few months for the real deal). We wanted somewhere cheap & cheerful just for a few days to chill out after all the mayhem of our big day.
Alfonso fit the bill perfectly. We may be giving the wrong impression by giving it a '4' star rating, the hotel itself isn't luxurious. We were glad of the air con & the shutters which made the room almost pitch black, that really helped gain a good night's sleep. Also, we read several reviews that complained of noise, but we did not have any issues at all. Alfonso is a budget hotel that is well run, clean, comfortable and makes a great base to explore the wider area.
Breakfast was served over a generous time (I think from around 6:30 up to around 10) and there was a decent enough selection of continental style items on offer. The coffee was particularly good.
What did warrant the stars though was just how accommodating and helpful the staff are. They will really go out of their way to help you out. Could not have asked any more from them.

Lovely staff- don't be put off by the exterior view. Very basic but clean. Generous breakfast. Would come again 😎

Convenient...walking distance to bus station 700 mtrs and train station 300 mtrs. Rooms are clean and comfortable....bathroom is a bit small. Linen is clean. Like it for sure. Team is very helpful. Good value. Recommend.
