Terrible service, chaotic and crowded, badly laid out. Food just sits on the counter getting cold until the disorganised staff manage to bring it to the table. They were extremely rude and defensive when asked, rather than apologetic. They didn’t even bring the change until prompted! Hopeless.
Four stars for the very good food, but this place needs new staff and to take out a dozen places from the packed room to make it a pleasant place to be.

We so loved it here! The concept is very cool, we ordered baskets of bread and croissant as well as cooked breakfast, all was delicious! the best part is the selection of homemade jams and chocolate spreads, the white choc is to die for!

Really wish I could give this place 4 stars but service is painfully slow. Coffee was served quickly enough but food was served extremely slowly. I had to go up to the counter to ask for my order which I saw had been sitting there for at least 15 minutes. The kitchen is preparing the food rather quickly but it then just sits on the counter for a very long time waiting to be served. Thus my croque madame was cold when it finally arrived. It would be a great place if the service was organized more efficiently as there is a nice ambiance and food is tasty (just cold).

Latte comes from the word milk, I should have mentioned the coffee part. The philosophy of bread and wine and scenery elevate this rich man's subway.

Charlotte is AWESOME!!! There you can have the most delicious breakfast in the city, in my humble opinion. They serve different kinds of homemade marmalade (with giant fruit pieces), white and milk chocolate with croissant and all kinds of bread, not to mention those fancy sandwitches... Make sure to come with an empty stomach, you will not regret it!
