If I were to get a good steak, a good glass of wine and a couple of sides for $60 in Boston, I would be ecstatic. However, as the most expensive meal (by far) I have had in Warsaw, it didn't stand out as much as I expected.
I had an aged Polish ribeye, medium rare. It was as good as a good restaurant in the states, but not comparable to a steak from a good butcher or a fancy steakhouse. The sides were quite good but nothing spectacular. The wine (a borolo) was expensive (65 zloty for a glass) and was also quite good.
Service was excellent. Honestly I was expecting to be blown away by the food judging by the other reviews and the prices, and I specifically went here because I wanted a memorable meal. It was good, but not particularly great for the price.
