Great food at a well positioned restaurant in the square. Tasty Polish cuisine at a reasonable price. Polite and friendly staff.

The Wesela is perfectly located on the main square of the old town. In spite of this it is not overpriced at all, as you might expect. On the main square of Prague, Berlin or Budapest, you will pay double or triple the value of what you consume. But not in Krakow. Or at least not at the Wesela. I had the Beef tartar with ice cold vodka and a beer. It was heaven. Absolutely delicious. And the service not only matches the food - it surpasses it. The staff is young, but highly ambitious. They really go the extra mile to make you feel comfortable. All in all, I can highly recommend the Wesela.

Having had an incredible dinner at sister restaurant Miod Malina the night before, we decided to try Wesele as the menus are slightly different.
Unfortunately, this is a poorer version of Miod Malina. The dishes were not quite a flavoursome, nor so refined. Everything felt a little more greasy. and strangely enough, it was a little more expensive! I wouldn't go back considering that there is a better alternative 5 mins walk away.

Our group of 25 Pilgrims came here for supper. The food was very good, the service friendly, and the ambience can't be beat. Beware: many of the dishes are served in quite large portions.

We were here for business dinner and we were very satisfied. The quality of food was excellent including the desserts.
So if you come visit the main square remember to stop by to taste their great meals just be prepared for the above average price.
