A bar with a German name somewhere at the start (or end) of the main street in Gdansk, Poland. At first it might look like a simple terrace, but when you follow the stairs into the basement you will be surprised.
The bar serves it's own, unique, beer. A single one that is.. Alongside other, fresh, beers. The bar itself and the rest of the basement made me felt like I went back in time. To an old jazz bar. I'm sure everyone can relate to an image that pictures a pretty dark bar where some smooth jazz is being played while visitors smoke their sigars while some try to get home and by opening the door a bright beam of light shines on the jazz musicians. Well, it felt like that and there wasn't even the slightest bit of jazz music playing. Although the bartender told me there is some jazz from time to time, alongside other live music.
Make sure to visit this bar when you're around. I might go there again tomorrow, it felt like home, but way better.

One of my favorite spots for live music. Intimate, fantastic atmosphere. A bit smoky but the smoking room can be avoided. Wonderful staff.
