Traveled to Baguio from Vigan. Booked a room at Chalet Hotel. Reached the hotel past 8pm and straight away went to the lobby to check in. Staff were not so accommodating. We were the once taking the initiative all the time. Went straight to the front desk to book a room. Inquired about the rooms available since we were six persons. Initially we booked one premier room with mountain view whereby two persons will be sleeping on the floor using day beds. The front desk staffs said it was all up to us to avail of the offer. Thereafter, we were offered a family room which we checked without mountain view. Having realized that one will still be using a day bed and without any view to look at (view is important because that is what Baguio is all about) we decided to inform the front desk that we have decided to stay on the upper premier room. However, we were informed that it cannot be provided to us anymore because they checked it with their hotel manager and the manager said that is not possible, to our dismay. Left with no choice, tired and already sleepy coming from a long trip, we told the front desk staff that we will just bear with it for a night. Room we slept at was not at its best condition. Floor was slippery, looks like was not cleaned properly because there were still hair strands all over.
Breakfast came. We went to the dining area without any staffs greeting us good morning. After making the order, we were the ones who inquired bout the free fruit juice that was part of the breakfast menu. It was not even offered at all which is very disappointing.
We then decided to transfer to the upper floors with a better view, but we were offered two separate rooms. Initially what was offered was an adjacent room which later turned out to be not available. Again, left with no choice, we took two separate rooms.
When it was time to check out, we inquired if we could do a late check out. We were informed that late check out was up to 5pm only to be informed after inquiring further that beyond 1pm we will be assessed of a late check out fee.
Worst experience of all was we lost an umbrella while bringing in all our luggage's to check in. Staffs who met us were not so vigilant and when we inquired just few minutes since we arrived, none from the front desk offered assistance.
This is the worst hotel experience we had and I will not recommend this hotel to any of my friends.....
Even in this review, we are left with no choice but to put a star because this review cannot be posted without a star.

5 -star customer service. One of the best when it comes to hospitality. We had an excellent stay here.

Nice and clean hotel. Very courteous staff. I love this hotel.
