Nice setting at the old chest hospital and tty grounds. The old place was a disgusting dump of a place with dogs and pups stuck in cold pens sitting on concrete floors. Talked to a former staffer from the 1980s and unwanted animals were gassed together in a room

Butchers non capable of making diagnosis. Perfectly healthy and happy stray cats are trapped by spca, then closed in a tiny cage for months. The cats become sick and depressed then killed. Most of the volunteers do not realise that they are not helping the animals. The only thing that is important for the spca Wellington is the money the managers can earn.

Wonderful new home for Wellington SPCA amidst Wellington's amazing town belt (trees, walks, views) . Puppies, kittens, cats, dogs, rabbits all find a place here while hoping for a forever home. Staff and volunteers always helpful and puppy cuddling encouraged
