Had breakfast there yesterday. We were horribly disappointed. We asked for bacon and eggs. The eggs were very badly presented. They looked like they had spread right across a very hot pan and were very thin. One of my partner's eggs was hard and overcooked and the toast was dry without butter. Not in a hurry to go back and don't recommend.

One of the best place to go for a relaxing meal or drink overlooking the Bay with excellent and happy staff to cater for your needs.

Been there a few times now (usually only for drinks on the bar or a coffee, but finally for dinner last night). I love the atmosphere in the afternoon when the place is flooded with sunlight and you have plenty of choice of tables while other cafés in town are closed around 4pm. The architecture and interior design is quite outstanding for Paihia, nevertheless it can get a bit chilly (IN WINTER + AT NIGHT) when you're seated in a corner and not directly underneath the heating elements (but lets face it: buildings up here in the North are not made for winter, I had this experience in other venues as well … ). The very friendly and attentive staff was happy to move us to another table when we asked for. It was good to see that they're running the busy place with the right amount of employees, it seemed all of them could concentrate very well on what they had to but none of them had to stress around to serve us and the other customers. They reacted promptly to requests like my spontaneous wish for a wine when my dinner was served. The food was amazing - well-balanced taste and a reasonable price for the portion size and the fresh ingredients they're using. Yes, compared to other places in town it is expensive, but if you want to spoil yourself or your loved ones - it's worth it! I'm looking forward to summer when the nights get warmer and you can enjoy the place even more!

What a lovely place. We had a lovely soup (mushroom special) and salmon pizza with fish of the day (salmon) and it was lovely. Ambience was great and our non-alcoholic mocktails were lovely. For 2 ppl the price was 100$ and that was very acceptable for the quality. would definitely go back.
