Great company run by a lovely family! It was my first time hiring and they made it easy and cheap whilst providing me with a good vehicle. I'd definitely recommend.

Very friendly staff. Good maintained cars and I liked the free pickup at the hostel and drop of at the airport. Will chose you again when I am back. Thanks!

Customer Service - Excellent
While I haven't yet rented a vehicle, I did have to cancel a booking, and Nelson Car Hire was very helpful, without even a hint of annoyance.
I will look forward to choosing Nelson Car Hire next time I'm looking for service in the region.

I booked with another company earlier (OCR) and it was very disappointing as staff said he was on his way to pick us up but waited for ages. Rang them and said it wasn't processed yet. What??? Then i stumbled upon Nelson Car Hire. I rang them and in 10 minutes the manager was in front of us with the car which was almost brand new with cheaper price. Coincidental? Will say meant to be. I always would look up to companies who would live up to their promises! I would highly recommend this company if you go to sunny Nelson!

Katina and Kerry are both very lovely! Small, family run style business.
I arranged my car hire all via email which was convenient for me. Kerry came to collect me from the Airport and brought me to the office to arrange the paper work. I am new to Nelson and he showed me some basic routes and even went the extra mile with doing a drive by of the place where I would be working over the next few weeks. Outstanding and friendly customer service, would definitely recommend and use Nelson Car Hire again.
