What a way to see Christchurch in bloom! Wandering along the peaceful river which meanders it's way through the park, it's easy to forget you are in the heart of a busy city. Amazing, historic trees and plants, beautifully landscaped and maintained. This place is pure bliss! Take a picnic and the family and enjoy...

Beautiful park we walked across the bridge from Botanical gardens, the Daffodil Woodlands were full of 3 different species of daffodils and snow drops. There are benches through out the park to seat on , most of the have memorial plaques dedicated to people.

Great park to just be in.
Has a tonne of fields where you can run , play sport, get some pars in golf or just enjoy a picnic. One great thing is that the botanical gardens is connected inside it, so anytime in spring or autumn its the place to be!
Victoria lake is also embedded in it, a great place to chill out.by the water with ducks and swans hanging out, sometimes seagulls too!.
