30/04/2016 - it's a nice and safe establishment as this bar belongs to the Christchurch Casino. Hence, security is tighter than other nearby bars. Entrance to Mashina Lounge is accessible from Peterborough Street.
They have a good selection of beers, wines and spirits + a reasonable selection of cocktails. The snacks are yummy and delicious, and comes in a good portion size.
It is a large area with a dance floor (there's a stage for DJs and/or music bands), bar tables and chairs/ stools and a large bar.
The general heating feels ok inside, but not cold. They do have a few private sitting booths available but was told by a staff that patrons need to book beforehand.
Would I go back? Maybe. 🤔
