Our hotel was 3 kms from the Budget car rental office on Beach Road in Auckland.
The hotel recommended that the car we rented could be picked up by Budget after our stay in Auckland.
The pickup fee is $219.
I thought there would be a fee but this is outrageous.
It pays to check.

The cheapest and the most convenient car rental company. They have lot of options and packages to choose from. The service is available throughout New Zealand.

Office seems extremely understaffed. One hour to get a car that was preebooked online. Typical case of a big corporate brand saving pennies while sacrificing the wellbeing of staff and customers.
