Absolutely delicious food, the service might be a bit sharper. Friday night we ate at the Treeswijkhoeve. It was pretty quiet, maybe therefore maitre d' mrs. Middelweerd had the night off. Chef Dick Middelweerd had to work both kitchen and the restaurant. Middelweerd knows how to invent and cook . Everything on the table is wonderful and you ought to make notes to know exactly what you ate. But we eat for pleasure and not for Michelin. Tasty olives with tarragon and dry fried beef with aperitive. Asparagus appetisers with coffee syrup and Flamande spaghettiasparagus. Veal Tartare with subtle pickels and ham. Sublime lobster with roasted asparagus and a subtle oriental dressing. Red mullet with another great sauce. Brabant barbecued chicken. Good desserts. In the full knowledge that I have forgotten at least 10 meal ingredients and flavors , it's all great. So were the wines from the wine arrangement. Clean and sleek are the words that come into mind considering the mostly Italian choices of the sommelier. Especially very unusual Italians. And all very generously offerings. All in all a great evening at a fabulous restaurant.
