My experience getting an appointment and choosing my dress was optimal: I sent an email, got a quick reply and an appointment on a weekend (since I work and Live in Amsterdam). I saw 3 dresses and the third one was perfect! so I bought it.
The lady who helped me (I think the daughter of the owner) was super nice and friendly.
The dress selection was also beautiful and the building is gorgeous. A really nice experience.
After that, everything went to hell. I bought my dress 1.5 years in advance, so I explained I lived and worked in Amsterdam, and asked if they could arrange a fitting for a weekend or late hour during a weekday. I mean. With one year in advance notice for sure they should be flexible. But NO. They shouted at me on the phone, it was a nightmare. They even confronted me saying "it's your wedding, you should be able to request holidays for your dress fitting". Excuse me, I don't have to give you personal explanations about my personal life and schedule.
I already felt mis treated on the phone by very aggressive people.
Later on, when I finally had the first fitting on a saturday, the dress was perfect and beautiful. I decided I didn't want to do any modifications, except for adding simple straps (originally strapless dress).
They agreed to it and proceded to charge me... 300 euros!!! for 2 simple straps. I asked how was this possible and they simply didn't answer anything. Because the dress is already bought... you have no other choice. You're their prisoner.
Finally on the last fitting, I was with my mother and mother in law coming from abroad, and we had a car issue that delayed us a LOT. So I arrived to the shop explaining I was sorry and asking when could I get another appointment. They shouted at me so strongly my family was in shock. They only thing I could do was apologise and keep apologising...
The wedding day came. The dress fitted well, length was good. But the 300 euros straps were terrible. They kept falling from my arms, in every picture you can see them falling or completely disarranged. My wedding planner and mother were constantly trying to arrange them...
I sent an email with this feedback to the shop and, of course, they never replied.
Overall, I was treated like I would expect to at a gas station, not a luxury wedding dress shop. It's a shame how you treat your clients.
I'm a professional and I would never treat other professionals like you do.
I hope no one else has to experience this horrible time like I did.

Wanneer je eenmaal alles hebt laten opmeten, dan word je als een hond behandeld door de eigenares. Het is meten, passen en gelijk wegwezen. De eigenares stuurt je hardhandig weg. Het zal wellicht door de stress komen, maar het is niet de beste ervaring die je als klant hebt.

Ow, en de jurk viel vanzelf uit elkaar tijdens de bruiloft, terwijl er heel zuinig mee om werd gegaan. Niets wat een veiligheidsspeld kan oplossen.

Ik wil het graag positief bekijken, maar de klantervaring is 4x niks (4 sterren aftrek).

Everything has been amazing since the beginning at Unique Bridal. I live in Amsterdam, but i am from Brazil and my wedding is going to be there. I was so afraid and sad to do the dress hunting all by myself, no family, no friends, and at Unique Bridal I didn't feel alone at all. I looked on internet where I could find my dream dress from Essence of Australia in Netherlands, Unique Bridal was the only store, so I ran there as soon as I could, I only had 6 months till the wedding and the timing could be a problem. My appointment was not at the system, but Shahla and Parisa were more than kind to me, Parisa treated me so well at the appointment and we found my perfect dress. To close the deal Shahla made all the effort to help me and I couldn't be happier. Now I am only waiting for the first fitting and super exited!!!! I truthfully recommend the store, specially because of such amazing service and kind people. I don't need to say that they have the most beautiful dresses too.

The people of this store are so rude, it will ruin your whole bride experience. Terrible terrible shop. The owner is like a witch who acts nice in the first 5 minutes then becomes super evil. Do not visit this shop

Accompanied my bride-to-be friend. Overall the staff was unaccomodating and rude.
-only 5 dresses allowed to pick out
- mandatory face cloth was dirty and "did not have another one"
- brought own shoes that were not allowed to wear because they found them dirty (only worn once and indoors)
-did not provide any recommendations for dresses
- 2/5 dresses gave up on trying to wear because they felt a bit tight putting on when trying from below. Made no effort to find alternatives
