My girlfriend and I recently decided to try camping to see if we liked it. As such, because we were attending an event in the area, I tried calling a few local campgrounds to see what was available and what the policies/regulations/price of each place was.
Long story short, Camping van Lovelei was one of the places I called for potentially booking. There were 2 phone numbers listed on their website so I tried the first one and was connected with a woman who only spoke Dutch (I don't), so I said thank you and hung up. I then tried the second listed number and was connected to a man who did speak English. I barely got a chance to ask if I could come before he just interrupted me with "You can come. I'm very busy. Goodbye." ...and then he just hung up on me. We were on the phone together maybe 15 seconds. I have never been treated so poorly by a business ever, which is why I'm writing this review. He didn't even bother to listen to me for maybe 1 minute worth of his time.
Needless to say, I didn't end up going to this campground and I'm writing this review to inform everyone that the staff there isn't friendly and they definitely don't seem to care about their customers. Beware.
I'd give 0 stars if that were possible.
