Fine selection of different beers. The interior is really nice and there's also a garden in the middle for when it's sunny outside.

Maybe one of the biggest cafés in Leiden. The selection of beer tm is really good. Don't expect too much from the service, they tend to be slow and unhelpful, specially Saturdays at around 9pm when it starts to get crowded.

There's not much options for a dedicated special beer experience in Leiden. Olivier is fine, but remember it's a concept with the other one being in Utrecht. There are these sort of niches that allow for more private interaction, but also create a certain feeling of isolation. For a more authentic experience you can also go to Lemmy's, which is rather small. Also, due to the mico-brewery revolution more and more cafés started to serve a wider variety of special beers, if that's what your after. The Bontekoe (in the same street) is the oldest café in Leiden and always has had a great selection and cosy atmosphere.

Best place to go in Leiden to drink beer, with a huge selection on the menu. However, be prepared to wait a bit, since this bar is usually packed with people!
