One of the worst experience of my life. I started to have problems already during the booking, because of some problems of the website. I resolved it calling the customer service, but it took about 1 hour. Then, I picked up the car and during the renting, I didn't have any problem. So, when I returned the car, everything went wrong. First, if you return the car not during the office hour, there is a system that it is basically not working: you have to call a number and you answer to a voice mail that you are leaving the car. Be careful because you need also to collect additional proofs (bills and photos) about it, because the client service can ask for them. Second, the office made a mistake with my bill, that was 6 times higher than expected, also because they stated that I returned the car late (because they registered it the day after at 2 pm). In addition, they didn't registered the signed contract, so the final invoice was totally wrong (to make it clear, renting cost from 126 to 350 euros). Third, it takes me 2 weeks of phone calls and emails to solve this problems: I was lucky to find a nice person in the client service that helped me, but the tool that generates the tickets is really slow and it works not so good. In conclusion, 1. they are taking more money from my credit card, but they will also reimburse them; 2. there are still some money reserved without any reason and I have to deal with that (they will inform me about a procedure....); 3. the people in this office are not working really well, because the did the mistakes really fast (supplements for late returning, wrong invoice, contract not registered), but then the client has to resolve these problems, using the client service, and it takes time, calls and emails.
I don't think that Avis as company is bad, but I am convinced that the problems come from this particular office.

I got 2 charges 20 times the amount I spent on my card, and the only places I used it was at Avis and the fuel station here. I suspect foul play and will be pursuing the matter and update my review when it is concluded.
