OK site with shop and restaurant. Electric limited to 6 amp. Car parked separate to caravan. Facilities clean. Mostly for residential. Very close to Ferry port.

Very nice camping near the sea. Good for Familys. The camping also has a good shop inside.

I don't really understand why this place hasn't received higher ratings. I stayed with two friends during Awakenings festival this past weekend; although the campsite seems more aimed at families and perhaps older couples, we were warmly welcomed and made to feel at home. We were under-prepared for the festival (i.e. had no predrinks, food, cigs, etc.), but the little on-site shop was very affordable and saved us a lot of hassle (my only reservation being it's not open all day). We were pretty much allowed to do as we pleased during our stay, and the fellow campers (no matter their ages) were happy to help us with charging our phones (of course we didn't bring adaptor plugs) - everyone was super friendly. The walk to the beach is about 15-20 mins. Next time I'll definitely hire a bike due to the location, as taxis are expensive. Having said that, I'd happily spend a week or two back at De Duindoorn just chilling with a book, some smoke, and some beers... Thanks, guys!

Nice location near to the beach. Don't be put off by the industry you pass through to get here, when on site you would never know. Take a walk through the dunes and have a look at the wartime bunkers. You can do this on the way to the beach.

The site itself, I think is quite expensive for our camper at €30 a night with electric and WiFi. Showers are €1, twice as much as the last place we stayed. However, the toilets and showers are clean and I can only say positive things about them. Bike rental at €10 per day is more expensive than previous. Has a nice little shop and although we didn't use the restaurant, it looked good and pricing this time was reasonable. Nice atmosphere and nice staff, contrary to some reviews on here.

Take your bikes through the national park, it's lovely.

Sadly we arrived to a very unfriendly staff and amenities meant for people with camper vans. It was more of a camper van 'resort". Not ideal for young children, bad weather, or people in tents. They don't have a fire pit so you must have a camping stove. You have to pay for hot water and showers, a laundry facility is also provided but expensive.
