An excellent regional museum, very well curated. There are special exhibitions, a key collection of prehistoric finds from the region and a basement to first floor of reproduction rooms from the 17th / 18th century - which is worth s visit on its own.

Went to the newest exhibition. It was pretty interesting. Also the "older" part of the museum is really nice! Definetly recommend this museum!

Interesting museum and art gallery. When I visited there was an exhibition of the Liao dynasty from Mongolia and art by Kunst. I enjoyed the archaeological exhibition and the detailed reproduction of a wealthy Dutch house from the 1700s. The cafe is good too. There was an outside area and comfortable settings inside. All the museum's staff whom I encountered were very helpful.
