Breakfast was over priced and they messed up our reservations. We booked a 3 bed room but they said we only booked 2 beds. We had to pay an extra $100 for them to correct their mistake.

Overall we had good experiences. We travelled with 1.5 year old toddler. The room was big and comfy and travel cot was provided. Location is really good for a hotel outside the central town and it's walking distance from tram bus ,canal boat, and lots of food places. Staff was helpful and let us store the straller in luggage room.
Only negative was that there was a bit of smell in the toilet all through the trip and two days in the row the coffee/tea was not replenished but we were given it when we asked.
Also rooms are not sound proof to today's standards.

It's a very nice hotel, in general. Lobby very well decorated, helpful and kind attention of receptionists, excellent and assorted breakfast (16 euros per person, not included).
Rooms with air conditioner, wide bed, TV with tens of channels, and a little refrigerator. Bathroom with hot water, electric hair dryer, and a tiny shower room. The laundry service is very expensive: washing one coat is like 12 euros.
In the stories, for getting the room, you have to climb like five big steps. Carpets look old.
It's very near of the Museum Quarter, an for going to Dam Square, you can use trams 1, 2 and 5.

I'm not sure why this hotel has so many negative reviews. The location is fantastic and I thought the cost was very fair. Breakfast buffet wasn't amazing but as far as a hotel breakfast goes it was good to me. Rooms may be a little small but they were clean and comfortable. Maybe recently remodeled?
All in all, I would recommend to a friend or stay here again.
