My roommates and I often go to cool down. Usually it's fine, but most recently we had an extremely disapointing experience. We were looking to have a fun night as usual. However the body guard refused to let us in, since my friend fell over. She is a clumsy person on the best of days. Needless to say, this rather depressing security guard ruined our night!

Music there is too loud. Been there on a Friday night and it was empty. If you're a group, just head there to enjoy your night. It closes late and it's free to get inside !

Aweful place to spent your precious weekend. The place is always packed with 18 year old boys wearing tight versace t shirts and too much gel in their hair. They probably come there to visit the 18 year old girls wearing tight jeans with large logos and short tank tops.
Let me paint the typical saturday night out in the Cooldown cafe for you. You enter a bar where there's no room to dance or walk around. The moment you enter you have to battle yourself to the wardrobe which is in the back of the place. After you've reached this area you ofcourse have to pay several euros to store your coats, then several more euros to visit the small toilet where everybody stands in line to take a piss. Then when you decide it's a good time for a drink you battle your way to the bar where you are confronted with a gorilla who taps beer in half full glasses, pours shots of alcohol flavored lemonade in tiny glasses and who thinks dj-ing means turning on the volume button from time to time of the preloaded songset. As you walk away from the bar with the drink in your hand, the half full glass of beer is knocked out of your hand by people trying to battle their way to the wardrobe, leaving you with a beer stained shirt surrounded by 18 year old kids with no room to move anywhere. If this is your idea of a good time, then this place is warmly recommended.

Good music, an overload of cute guys, fun waiters that walk around dancing. They really seem to enjoy their jobs.
