Located less than 5 minutes from the border, this little stand puts out great tacos quickly. If your Spanish is good enough to order tacos, politely work your way through the crowd around the stand and place your order. They have two kinds of tacos, tripa (tripe) and birria de res, a slow cooked stewed beef. The tripa are mixed with carne asada, giving them a smoky flavor with crispy edges. They were my favorite of the two, although both were incredible.
For a bit more relaxed experience, grab a seat inside behind the taco stand. There, you can place an order with the servers and have it brought to you. Or, you can order at the stand and grab a seat inside. Enjoy!

Muy buenos los tacos de birria. Los de tripa aún no los he probado. Es increíble ver la velocidad con la que se preparan los tacos que si parpadeas ya no lo viste.
La relación precio/calidad es buena. Se los recomiendo.
A must-go if you're in TJ, it's incredible to see the speed with which the taco guy puts the tacos together. If you blink, you missed it. I've had the birria tacos only and not the ones made from the diced intestines.
A great value for the money and it packs a punch as far as the explosion of flavor you will feel in your mouth as you eat away at your tacos.
If I lived closer I'd go more often. Needless to say, I highly recommend it.
