Staff was very attentive and relaxed from the start, we could sense the chill beach vibe. Grand stone staircase takes you to the pool area and rooms. Breakfast is very complete and has many options to choose from. Room is very simple and is meant to be used only to sleep and shower, because most of they day you are out and about at the beach or exploring the ruins. I loved the thoughtfulness of the hanging essentials next to the bed, there were things for sale that you might need for the beach: a hat, a bag, and a towel. I also appreciated a welcome letter from the manager hanging next to the mirror. At night they have a DJ in the pool area with great beats. Overall I loved the feel of the whole place, very comfortable and private and the staff is one of the friendliest I have met.

Great hotel. Have stayed here twice. The only classy boutique hotel along he main stripe. Rooms are nice but small. Bar and pool are awesome.

Beautiful boutique hotel in the most happening place in Playa del Carmen, which still retained a relaxing homely vibe. The staff were very friendly and sincere - no attitude that you might expect in high end hotels. The rooms are minimalistic in style. Though they were at the center of the party district, the rooms are well equipped with sound proof doors. The lounge is a nice place to relax and get some drinks in the evening and watch a black and white Mexican movie in the background while the DJ spins out some lounge music. Their have a sufficient continental breakfast spread served in bright blue tableware.
A lot of thought has gone into doing this place up and it shows. The price was on the higher side, for the amenities in the hotel. Also, it rained on the afternoon we checked-in and the beds in the lounge weren't wiped dry even at night. But we would still go back here, since it's such a beautiful place!

I didn't stay here -- I just stumbled upon the rooftop pool lounge and struck gold. It was a breath of fresh air after looking at all the crowded restaurants, we walked up the stairs (mostly just because they look nice) and ended up spending the rest of the afternoon there. At night, they play house music and project old black and white films onto the white stucco walls above the pool -- cool and chill place.
