These guys are amazing with real compassion towards their fellow citizens. I was robbed at Nevado de Toluca by personas feos. I was left with nothing but spirit and my passport. I did have friends who gave me enough money to arrive home to Boston. I had a reservation at the Hilton but the manager was unwilling to change it and wanted to charge me double $300 USD/night. Don't stay at any HIltons. I went walking into the DF. Since it was Saturday night there no rooms available, after visiting 5 of them. I stumbled upon some auxiliary police who found this motel for me down the street from where we were. I walked to Hotel Planet and gave them the 560 pesos and the man there handed the money back. In morning I thought I would need to pay but it was 'libre'. I was nearly crying as I walked to the airport for the compassion shown to me. My room was for smokers but other than that it was a very nice clean room. I will definitely be staying there again with a smile on my face.
