Dos Playas is in a very good location - it has gorgeous views and it really has some beautiful grounds. The downside is that it is a little rundown and in some disrepair - it looks kind of like it is a bit past its peak. However for the price it feels like you can do no better! The WiFi is a little rough at times - especially in the rooms but that could have been just my room. I could get it best in the bathroom! Overall I would definitely recommend it based upon the price and location along with the delicious dining options!

Excellent hotel with a perfect location. Near to the city and the Coco Bongo party zone. Just perfect for a good vacations!

Worst hotel ever. I travel a lot so I do look at cheaper options when going away but I did not sign up for this craziness I went through. Check in was a breeze. First room was awesome. I woke up wit a lot of bites in between m sleep and guess what I found. Bed bugs!! ALOT. It only got worse from here. They moved me to an abandoned room at the back of the hotel bc the rooms were all booked. This room was in the deepest darkest area of the hotel, no ac, no light, no tv, just a room with a bed. Bc I had found the infestation late they said they would better accommodate me in the morning. I told the head of the hotel what had been happening and he said he’ll put me in their best room. It was no better. The ac didn’t work and I had no WiFi. I had to carry my own luggage to the room, no elevator. I literally was thanking god that my friend was staying at an exclusive hotel not far from me bc I could not bare staying at this hotel & they wouldn’t refund me my money. It’s time to check out and they requested I give the towel card back. I had moved so many times I forgot where I placed it. Let alone even used it. She said she would have to charge me 30 dollars for losing the flimsy paper card. I literally let loose on her ass. Like how dare you. I basically paid to leave my luggage there. DO NOT, I REPEAT DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

Booked for 2 nights with great advance at my arrival they didn't have my room available! They moved us for the first night to another place I didn't liked, don't remember the name. To apologize they offered an all-inclusive food&drink for free. I appreciate that but never happened to me. For the second night the room was ok, good bed, good bathroom, good AC. The all-inclusive was a buffet Mexican style which I really don't like, poor and low service. Not in my memories.

rooms = poor quality, small, smells weird had to cover the drains to prevent sewer smell, you hear everything out there.
ground and beach = clean, well maintained, beach doesn't have many chairs so come early or wait all day. pools were ok, not the cleanest or safest to get in and out of. don't wonder to far the beach next to this place is public, and full of aggressive people selling something. Snorkeling more garbage than fish!
staff= some were good, others hold up the tip jar. That being said Luis a bar tender at the lower bar was beyond kind to me and fluent in English, thank Luis.
