The location is fantastic! The premises and the environment excellent but the service and staff surely leave much to be desired. Definitely not a 4 star service!!

In short: 5 Star hotel that deserves only 2 or 3. Lots of services offered but not working or not working well. Child friendly until you read the fine print. Make sure you bring you own internet.

This is a 5 Star hotel but unfortunately can do with a good upgrade. The staff is good, friendly and professional. But complaints seen to stop at the staff. Management should pick that up and follow up. At first look everything looks well taken care of but the facilities are really need of some upgrades.
The hotel comes with two outside pools, a spa and inside pool. They are friendly with children but the inside pool is only available to children a few hours in a day. Also children are only allow in ONE of the pools.
Then the rooms are spacious and look modern but specially summertime you find out the aircon system is old and can't meet the demand. Our room was 26 degrees day AND NIGHT so a good rest is no option in this hotel. Of course the staff is doing all they can within the resources available. Even changing rooms; but they all have the same problem. Maintenance tried what they could do. (See picture of huge noisy fan to help us trough the night). The aircon units are operating on a water cooling system. This is outdated and not very eco friendly (although I don't know if they recycle the water themselves). The problem arises if the water has to run a long way (on the hot roofs). Then they can of course never cool enough.
Internet (wifi) is everywhere IF IT WORKS. They will fix it but probably the next day. Then it worked for a few hours before stopping. They are using Ubiquiti hardware so I don't think the hardware is a problem. They just need someone professional to set it up right and of course a good/stable internet feed preferable with backup. For me I had problems connecting because their system didn't even lease me an IP address. They have 2 separate networks and from a quick check the other seems to work but was too far from our room.
Is it a 5 Star hotel. NO, not in this state. Still a very nice hotel with a very good service. However at this level of service is highly overpriced. Are these isolated incidents? NO, because we spoke to several guests experiencing the same problems. Also while talking to the staff at the front desk other gathered around confirming the same problems.
We will not stay here any more and not recommend this hotel to anyone.
