Great location...a variety of eateries like Paradise, for the Pakistani food, Chettinadu for South Indian food, Shwarmas, traditional Thai, Korean, Chinese and Malay street food is all in under 5 minutes walking distance. Butik Bintang at about 7 minutes walk has all the high end Malls for shopping, and the Hop on Hop off stop as well. The KL Menara and the Petronas Towers are under 10 mins by cab.
The Hotel itself is old and ailing....the rooms are very basic, without a refrigerator, or an extra plug point! The one in our room (804) did not work for 2 days. They also have shortage of adaptors, so you gotto to carry one or buy from the street market iutside the hotel in the evenings. Hot water is an issue in the mornings. The bathroom and mirrors, the toilet showers definitely need an urgent revamp. The bed is clean and the room carries a kettle but no iron or laundry bags, room slippers and don't deliver Newspapers. The breakfast is repetitive (out of the 7 days had breakfast only twice), very very basic and the restaurant staff is also not very hospitable. The front desk staff however is very warm helpful and assuring. Andy helped us with arrangement of the cabs and confirming pickups by various tours in the local language.
Would recommend rooms at the back as they are quieter and you get to have a nice view of the lit up Sky scrapers in the evening. The rooms in the front would be noisy owing to the high activity of street food joints that operate till late.
A hotel to stay if you are on a restricted budget and want a clean bed and are not looking for the experience of enjoying the ambience, view or facilities.

I stayed in twin bedroom, the room was large, near to the food court & monorail, but the breakfast menu must be improve better because not too many choice
