We stayed a week in Seoul and that day we felt like getting a bit away from all the action downtown.
A quick subway ride brought us to this pleasant park right at the Han River. There are lots of locals, mostly school kids and students (at least on a weekday) roaming the area and not many tourists....which isn't a bad thing.
This park has quite a nice setting with some good city views and lots of space to walk, bike or relax. A bit SEOUL sign at the river is the perfect photo op.
There is a good number of small restaurants, mostly chicken & beer and a huge bike rental, if you feel like driving instead of walking, quite cheap even.
If you are here in spring you might get lucky to see the cherry blossoms....we just missed by only a few days. Well, a good reason to go back I guess. After this park you should also check out the nearby Yeouido Park with some nice strolls (and more cherry blossoms in season).
All in all a nice place to spend some time away from all the action.

Beautiful place.. and GREAT place to bike. Only reason i did not give it five stars is because i rode along the biking path and wanted to turn around as i couldnt finish the whole round but ended up getting lost (strange & probably my fault - i know!).. perhaps putting a map on certain stop points would help... ofcourse overall its a beautiful area.. air is so fresh. By mid afternoon the grassy areas are filled with tents, the skies have loads of kites and the atmosphere is a mix of peace and liveliness (if that even makes sense!)

It is a great park. We went for international fire cracker festival in October. It was exceptionally crowded. People start pouring in the park from 10 am in the morning for show starting 7 pm. It's like a big Mela. It's lot if fun as they gave some groups performing also before the fire show.

It's so beautiful place for spend a relaxing time with friends or family. And can refresh in the stream. Kids will love it

The best park I've visited so far in my LIFE. Clean concrete bike roads, a heaven for bike lovers. A huge stage for concerts, events, and night markets. A convenience store, which is famous for its automatic ramen cooking system. This simply is without a bad spot.
