Had a quite decent cheese and pickle baguette and a pint of Grolsch for lunch outside. Nice day, nice lunch, not too expensive. Pleasant, relaxed atmosphere in Royal Square. Did not go inside.

Proper old style pub inside and a big seating area outside overlooking the square. Some good beers and ciders and the food looked very nice (although didn't eat there myself). Quite busy and table service outside was only for food so had to get drinks from inside ourselves - not seen that arrangement before. Must have enjoyed it - time flew by and would have missed my flight back to London if it hadn't been delayed!!
