I was mislead by the name. It is not an anime 'center' as much as a a small exhibition in a single room. If you are looking to buy, you will see much better fare at the street vendors just outside. And of course at the huge malls dedicated to anime in Akihabara. The anime centre has a separate shop in the same building, which is also more interesting.

Kinda neat to see a bunch of sketches and cells from the Anime artists, but the place is very small with not much there. Better off just wandering through the rest of Akihabara.

We visited first week of Dec 2016 and they had a beautiful, detailed replica of the sword from Berserk on display. Merch from other series such as Re:Zero, New Game, and Koutetsujou no Kabanero are available.
