Expensive, but as ever with Japanese cuisine it's the whole experience and sublime service - must go for the tempura to sit and watch the chef work his art in front of you.

Very traditional tempura restaurant with many private rooms some with own chef cooking in middle others for large tour groups. Lunch menu from yen 14k to 17k. Prawns, scallops, eel, fish, uni wrapped in seaweed, squid, veg, salad, rice, miso soup and fresh fruits. Batter not as fine but tasty and crunchy. Oil also not as fresh compared to other high end tempura restaurants. Servings perhaps too fast esp since room not full.
Overall good tempura meal but expensive since in Ginza.

Tempura of Ten-ichi is incredible delicious. Once you take seat in front of the deep fat fryer and the Master, you know what is professional. I have ordered scallops, prawn, mushroom, flathead, & some vegetables tempura. It's the tempura restaurant where I most like so far.
Although the price is relatively higher, it's deserved. I must go again whenever I visit Ginza.

Good place to show off, like you have a Hermes and you wanna please people with your wealth... but nothing to make tastebuds happy... I think all my money goes to the traditional deco rather than food... this is not my first tempura but this will be the last time I'm here...

Good tempura prawns and shrimps. Friendly chef. Good atmosphere. Oysters, unfortunately, were out of season, we were told. Roderer champagne was available, which was very welcome.
