Beautiful garden with a lovely teahouse (I highly recommend trying the matcha tea with Japanese sweet, so delicious, made us fall in love with matcha tea). Beautifully maintained. Clean bathrooms. Lovely sanctuary within the city.

Nice garden to walk peacefully, there are a small tea house.
300¥ entry fees, but it worth it.
I visited this garden during Sakura season it was charming and perfect sunny day.
Its not crowded, many employers around having their lunch break at the garden.

Beautiful, peaceful place with Banzai trimmed trees and a nice tea house. It's nice to walk and relax here. Picnicking is not allowed and your can only sit on the benches. The gardens were restored after damages from the war and earthquakes, to what they looked like a long time ago. Be aware visits are subject to opening hours and you have to buy a ticket for 300 Yen.
