A beautiful park and walkway along the banks of the Sousei River. The autumn colours were vibrant and unfortunately there were some homeless people camped on the steps by the river. It was quite cold so it's sad to see them sleeping outside.

A really nice canal in the heart of the city. It is pleasant to walk along this river and park instead of the road full of cars.

A nice break from city, in the middle of the city. In the summer there's a German beer garden south of the tower. Lots of art, which is a nice touch.

Can't recall if I came here on Saturday or Sunday, but the park had an outdoor area of food vendors selling a delectable collection lunches. Average citizens sang folk music and performed dances, puppet shows, magic tricks. Charming and family oriented. There is a great fish market next door.
