Matcha shave ice was delicious. Texture was so cool and fun to eat. I didn't have to wait at all, but traveling in Oct (not peak travel season).

Incredible bar/restaurant. The drinks were excellent and the italian food perfect. A Kyoto highlight in my opinion.

Niti is hidden on a side road, and think speak easy as it is extremely hard to get in even on a week day. Plan ahead of time and be ready to pick up a slip which tells you what time you can be seated. A small chance you may be able to do a walk-in towards the evening; no guarantees that you will have a full menu waiting for you as they could be sold out.

It's an extremely beautiful place but unfortunately bit overpriced. After ordering a beer for Y1000 that was supposed to be served with snacks we were disappointed to learn that there were no snacks. $10 for a small beer is a bit much in my opinion. They did have a cherry blossom shaved ice though.
