Great hotel. They have a roof to bar which can go on till late, so kinda lives up to its name. It's interior is inspired by the works of Daido Moriyama whos photography i love. I'll be back

interesting "boutique" attempt in middle of nothing area. larger double room was nice but dirty with stained carpet and a horrible sewage smell coming up from open room bathtub. the only pro for this hotel was the fab breakfast handmade in a very modern open kitchen. it's a potential if under ¥10,000/night and you get the breakfast included.

The Rock Star Hotel in Kyoto provided our family with a welcoming experience with friendly staff, clean modern rooms, and a fantastic communal kitchen/bar.
The rooftop bar provides a fantastic open air location for a few drinks, and the place also has a cool lounge/club to enjoy on weekends.
Located close to the Hommachi station subway, take exit number 23 then its just a short walk.
Highly recommended if you want a clean friendly place with a modern funky vibe.

Very nice "rock star" style that goes on in all rooms, lobby and corridors. Staff is very friendly and helps with everything. I really liked the freshly cooked breakfast which is made individually for every guest. A good point to mention is the roof top bar with a very special ambiente.

I really appreciate my stay in this hotel. It is super design and the bathtub plus the breakfast makes it super cosy! You feel like home
