Lovely stay at Mitsui Garden Hotel. Rooms are spacious with a very comfortable bed and full amenities. Hotel provides a complimentary shuttle bus to and from Osaka Station, which was excellent. The hotel is in a quieter part of the city in a business district. Would recommend staying here if you want to be away from the hustle and bustle of Osaka city centre.

Quite far from JR station, but there is free shuttle to and from the hotel. Close to subway station tho. There is female only floor, meaning the ladies public bath is busy every night. There was no coin changer in the coin laundry nor vending machine. The hotel appears to be catering more towards Businessman and women than tourists, perhaps due to its location. The room is of good size, but could have made better use of the space, as we struggle to open our larger suitcases. The fridge is well hidden by the side of the vanity, we found it after calling the reception lol.

The shuttle to the hotel runs every 20 or 30 minutes but the last shuttle from JR Osaka at 21:40 can be crowded and you may find no seats left. The area around the hotel is a quiet office building area which also has some nice bakery and restaurants. My only complaint was that the hotel breakfast might not be cost efficient: it costs about 2100 yen per person and it has many kinds of food to choose from, but for example the bread quality was not good.
