Very nice food and atmosphere. Friendly staff and price is not too high. Suitable for large group. Open lunch at 11.00 am. Reservation is a must due to near tourist attraction spot.

Arrived for lunch and there was a queue but also with seats for waiting customers. English menu is available.
Was initially surprised that they only have a few options for us to choose from and also that they were a little pricey but decided to go ahead with the sea beam set meal anyway.
The food was exceptional!!! There was also free extra rice that accompanied the meal. Very satisfying lunch that afternoon.

Located just in front of the famous bamboo street. Great dishes and atmosphere but very crowded. You may need to wait for 1 hour or more depending on the time.
There are more restaurant along side the main street where you don't need to wait, but if you want to try something different and special, try this restaurant.

Best lunch ever. Gave extra serving plates for us to share without being asked. Nice ambiance , good unintrusive waitresses. Set meal was about 2300yen or so and worth every penny.

We entered on the thought of a quiet sake break, but the set menu seemed too good to pass up. The set menu included sea beam sashimi, (ACE) rice that is enjoyed soaked in green tea (instructions are provided for us foreigners), and three other small plates of assorted vegetables (sea weed, bamboo shoots, radishes, eggplant, etc) and a small helping of cheesecake squares.
The rice and relish are refilled as many times as you'd like. The entire course was delicious, we were very happy to have stayed.
Oh, and the 1000¥ sake was great too.
