Can find halal souvenirs here at Laox, 5th floor of Kyoto Marui. It is certified but not much variations. At least you can buy certified halal chocolate and cosmetics.

Tourists friendly department store with Starbucks and Seria, high end $1 store. Small so not too overwhelming.

Didn't go shopping here, but went to the food court on the 7th and 8th floors. There are some decent looking options but we went with an omurice restaurant which was cheap and filling. It was the greatest meal but it was still satisfying in the end - not a bad place to try omurice if you haven't had it elsewhere.

Very fancy place but accesible prices for different publics. They even have a 100 yen shop inside

Not the biggest 0101 departmental stores I have seen around but the staff are just as friendly and the tax free redemption is very simple and they have tax free counters at several levels. They have many items that are only limited to 0101 stores that you might want to check it out if you are thinking of getting items only available in Japan!
