Smallish museum, but very cool exhibits. Didn't realize Kawasaki had such a broad scope of engineering projects. There are some nice model exhibits of motorcycles/trains/helicopters/etc you can get into and the little theater shows some pretty interesting videos. We got a combined pass that allows you to go up the Kobe Port Tower to the observation deck which we highly recommend. The view of the harbor is stunning from up there.

The classic bullet train and helicopter displays were a bit with the kids. The motorcycle display was also a must see.

Located in Meriken Park the Kawasaki Museum is a fun place for families and kids. It's fairly small and doesn't take a great deal of time to pass through the exhibits, but the bullet train and model trains are always a hit with children. Definitely worth a visit if you're a motorcycle enthusiast.

Ways more than motorcycles, they made anything from bullet trains to robots and big ships. cheap entry ticket and included the visit to Kobe maritime museum. lot of fun for kids in all ages. click into their website and print the coupon to save 100 yen per person.
