We came by domestic flight. The car was at international airport (almost 30min lost).
Nobody speak English. They don't want to help.
And they asked for fuel filling as 1.5liters were missing (another 15min lost just before our flight)

Highly recommend a car for travel outside of Fukuoka. This location is hard to find though, its across the main street from the Domestic Terminal of the airport.

Dont be cheated if you book through tocoo as the actual car rental shop for international traveller is located in the south side far from the arrival terminal.

Tocco web site and print out reservation letter has a wrong phone number as well. You CANNOT walk to the rental shop as it is not at the airport terminal. The taxi driver at the airport refuse to take us to the Budget rental and we have to leave the luggage in the arrival hall and walk across the other side of the river in the south. We met another family in the shop and complains this problem. The staff just teases and says they can give us a ride if we call them but actually the phone number on the reservation letter was wrong.
The car we rent has more rhN 95000km mileage and the brake squeak a lot which is dangerous as we drove through the hill slope near Aso. The car is poorly maintained as the AC panel light, interior passenger light bulbs are burnt as well.

Very helpful staff and check out process is smooth. However quite inconvenient for travellers departing at the international terminal. There are no connection shuttle service from here to the departure terminal. A taxi ride will cost around 1500 JPY.
