My wife came across this place on the internet while we were in Montego Bay, Jamaica and we decided to order. It was th le second best thing we had here in Jamaica. I got there and the staff were very very pleasant and helpful. One of my orders included well done stake and they were prompt in completing and serving our order. The foodbis superb, although the mashed potatoes might need a litttle bit mroe salt but apart from that. We loved the food, staff and atmosphere. I would definitely dine here again on our next visit.

No need for a long review... We got tired of the resort food and caught a taxi into the city and the driver recommended The Pelican and it was AWESOME!!!!!! Authentic Jamaican food!! I had Ox tails, and OMG!!! Soooo good! Hubby had his usual Jerk Chicken and he enjoyed too. And unless you are greedy, the servings are portioned just fine. Restaurant is very clean. It's a late 70's, early 80's type of old school feel, nice and cozy. Customer service is very good and prices are too! Nothing is ridiculously overpriced .I can't wait to go when we come back. Great Job Pelican!! Also try the Cod Fritters(see pic), it was my first time eating them and I fell in love. I found some when I got back to Atlanta, a new fav.

Great atmosphere. The food was very good and so was the location. They were really accommodating because we walked in with a baby in a stroller and they just reorganized our seating area to fit him in. If there's one place you eat at Mobay. It has to be the Pelican.

Food is good. Waiters knowledgeable about the menu and can advise appropriately if you're a first timer.
If nothing else though you must have their shakes. Perfection!
Only drawback is they're a tad pricey but you get what u pay for. 👍
