We stayed here for 2 nights in our northern Italy trip. The location is really good for a short walk to all major tourist attractions in Verona. The breakfast was adequate and amole to fuel you for the day. No coffee making facility in the room. The sole reason I gave my stay 4 stars was there was some construction sound early morning which woke us up. Apart from that, wonderful stay and helpful staff. I would definitely recommend this place.

There were just so many little issues during my stay that contributed to it annoying me continuously. The room was cramped and very poorly laid out. The bathroom light worked intermittently, the shower drain was blocked and the toilet was in such a cramped location I ended up constantly hitting my knee off the wall as I got up. The air conditioning unit in the room did not work correctly, the temperature only worked at or below 20C and the dial to adjust the speed was broken. An extra pillow costs €3 per night per pillow, a kettle costs €10 per night and a glass of water costs 50c. The breakfast was average at best, pastries were dry or burnt on some occasions as well as there being none left. Hot items at breakfast were mostly cold and a good number of breakfast items weren't labelled adequately. The WiFi is terrible too in the rooms. The only good thing going for the hotel is the staff, most are extremely pleasant and nice.

Typically don’t write bad reviews. First the positives. Room cleaning service was decent, beds were good, and place was quiet. Now the bad. Service at the front desk was slow and completely indifferent to helping people. Room had a horrible perfume smell to it and asked to have it checked and it was never checked. Room lights quit working one of the days. The bathroom was a horrible setup with the toilet beside the door so when someone opened it up it hit the person on the toilet. The shower curtain did not close the whole way and sprayed water all over the floor. Getting the shower to work was very challenging. Getting into the shower if you were older or had mobility issues would be impossible as the step up was so high. The food in the restaurant was terrible. We were with a group of 50 travelling for business. We asked for vegetarian option for dinner as we didn’t want the steaks. We received a slabbed of melted cheese with one or two vegetables (see attached picture). Definitely would have left this hotel if I was paying with my own money and not part of a larger group.

Classic but nice hotel 20m from the city center. Staff were nice and attentive. Quiet area to work and good WiFi. Noticeable smoke smell in the room in a non smoking floor. Overall good experience.

Old style classy hotel. Kind staff clean rooms nice breakfast. I miss the kettle in the room and a gym but for the rest all good.restaurant is also nice just a bit pricy but quality is good. Convenient location. Just a bit noisy with the river just outside. Great open space to work or relax in the reception. Good value for money.
