TO AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!
Classic example of a place that was good, but the owners become arrogant and now is quickly going downhill... booked a table 3 days in advance. Arrive there, they sit us at some sort of hole where I had to ask the person behind me to move it's chair so that I can sit. After 15 minutes no sign of even getting a menu or being asked whether we wanted to drink something or now. Table of 6 people in front of us where waiting for their empty pasta dishes to be taken care of...
Gets worse. Lady comes and asks us twice if we can squeeze to the table against the wall so that another couple that just came in can take our table...what??.... I look at my wife to check if I am understanding what is going on... I tell the lady that we would like to keep our table and she gets upset and leaves!!! After 5 minutes we just decide to walk out and have lunch somewhere else.
Do not go here, unfortunately another good Italian place spoiled by it's past reputation.

Wonderful home cooking in a tiny space with a daily-changing menu. There's very limited choice but it's excellent value, generous and authentic. One of a kind in Venice. Highly recommended for its no-frills, warm-hearted approach. No wonder it's always filled with genuine Venetians.

It's definitely one of the worst dining experiences to pick this so called local Venetian restaurant. It's doesn't matter whether they are the owner or servers. Don't expect they spare a smile to you as if you try to beg something from them which are just few seats tho they have plenty of available seats. Even tho you got your seats, be extra cautious for not blocking their way. But in reality you won't be able to squeeze in anymore for the sardine seat arrangement. You are just like INVISIBLE in their eyes if you can't speak Italian! I would never expect a restaurant hold such an arrogant attitude if they want to earn a penny from their customer. Dont waste your time with them, their food is nether cheap nor delicious

Amazing food at a very reasonable price for Venice. Love the idea of having chef make just one meal for all just like eating at home only better.
Atmosphere perfect by the water made even better by great table neighbors. Impeccable service. Definitely will return.
