Wonderful location and distinctive interior. The food the was great, the service was excellent, the suggested wines were very good, and although not necessarily part of the restaurant, the locale, along with the walk to and from, were wonderful.

From given a starter we never asked for yet had to pay for to the so-called "medium" chateaubriand steak arrive oozing with blood and would be classed as being cooked blue. We were led to believe it was to be accompanied by "seasonal vegetables" but it came with mushrooms instead. Mushrooms, for one, are not vegetables and would not be classed as seasonal to the month of August. Earlier we had a 10 euro plate of pasta at a cafe and it was a lot more enjoyable than the 100 euro that we have wasted. Utter joke! When we sent it back, it arrived well-done instead of medium. I would not be writing this bad review if there was something done about it, however, from what we can tell, the manager or supervisor handed us the bill with no questions asked how the food was or anything and was also extremely rude. Safe to say we won't be back. To be fair, the service was good from the waiters but that's about it! I would suggest to go to other places like osterias if you are thinking about trying this place!

If you are first time in Venezia and even, if you are second time, you know how difficult is to find Restaurant, where you can eat fresh salad or Mozzarella, or something else as Pizza. Reason why i write this scope, that i really want to help tourist and as well say thank you to this Restaurant, that it exists already so long time... there, you can eat during day or evening, you will get very nice service with small Greetings form the Kitchen, tasty Wine and really, really good food! For everyone, as well for vegetarian!

Beautiful place, lovely service, unusual and delicious food. Not pretentious, just good food. We had beef cheeks with grilled artichokes, simple but perfectly executed; some of the best food I've had in a while. Had a nice bottle of Valpolicella as well. The "potato cake" (essentially potatoes gratin) on the side was so good we ordered a second one. My raw pink prawns appetizer was a perfect balance of flavours and textures. Best meal in Venice, without a doubt. Go here!
