Great museum. Tour of the old synagogues was amazing. Located in a neat little shopping ing area a little bit off the main tourist areas.

This museum is tucked away in the Venetian ghetto away from popular tourist attractions in Venice. It offers guided tours through 3 of the 5 Sephardic and Ashkenazi synagogues in the area, a cafeteria that serves traditional pastries, and a bookstore. The tour guides are very knowledgeable and the atmosphere is welcoming.

Real atmospheric experience. Good level of interaction with guide who gave a clear description of the local Jewish history and the relevance of the different buildings in the ghetto including the synagogues.

Went on a guided tour. Guide spoke good English and gave an excellent overview of Jewish Venice, it's Ghetto and 3 of the 5 synagogues. Also answered our questions. Gift shop definitely worth visiting. Lastly, the Museum also features a Kosher dairy cafeteria with cookies, pastries, coffee and average cuisine. Two days in a row, we enjoyed a quiet and relaxing lunch.
